YouTube Thumbnail Preview
Your thumbnail never appears alone — it sits in a grid next to a dozen competitors. Upload it and see exactly how it holds up in the real YouTube feed: on desktop, on mobile, and in the brutal 168 px sidebar. Free, no sign-up, your image never leaves your browser.

Squint test blurs everything the way a scrolling viewer sees it in 0.3 s — if your idea still reads, it works.
Thumbnail losing to the competition? BYSO generates click-ready thumbnails from a text prompt — add your own photo, pick one of 29 styles, get it in about a minute.

- Sidebar 168 px is the real test. If your text is unreadable there, it's unreadable on half of YouTube.
- Watch the bottom-right corner. The duration badge sits exactly there and covers whatever you put under it.
- Compare, don't admire. The question isn't "is it nice" — it's "does it win attention against the neighbours".
- Grayscale reveals weak contrast. If everything blends into one grey mush, colors are doing the work that composition should.
- Title and thumbnail are a team. If both say the same thing, you wasted one of your two channels — see our guide on titles.
